So finally , finally , finally!!... I have figured out the 3 column blog template htm-smell....!! Thank you Plumrose Lane for guiding me, lol... Im sorry , I am a NOOB!!! It's just so tedious... took me a few days to figure out , but ALAS !! I HAVE CONQUERED THE HTML DEMON! Anywho, along with adding the 3rd column, I have elongated my header picture a bit, and added some elements...
I am just so happy that I am able to add more buttons and picture links to all of these wonderful bloggers I have found over the last month! And I really want to thank them all for encouraging creativity, not only creating, but sharing with like minded individuals as well...
I am so excited for a bunch of projects I can't wait to get started on. For one , the Journaling in July which The Whimsical Cottage is hosting. I have started some art journals before , so I am excited to share some old pieces, and to create some new... not just for me , but for a purpose... to share with others and help inspire their creativity as well....
So tonight I am going to try to create some pieces....
That is all I really have to blab about , but I leave you with the recent rush of Chocolate Chip Mint Goodies I have happened upon lately... and I am so excited to discover all of these goodies, because chocolate chip mint is my FAVORITE flavor ever ( typing this as I'm munching on a choco chip mint ice cream sandwich from TARGET)!!!
This all started when last week I was checking my daily newsfeed on facebook when I happened upon one of my buddies mobile uploads....
I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THESE EXISTED IN OTHER FLAVORS BUT VANILLA! So i wasted no time , and asked her where she got these treats.... she told me Target... so a couple days later I went and checked it out... One box contains 6 sandwiches for a whopping $1.69!!! So of course I bought 2 boxes!!! They are AMAZING !! Go get them while you can :-D
About a week passed by , and the same girl had posted a chocolate chip mint cookie recipe that was posted on Betty Crocker's Flickr Page... and YES BETTY CROCKER HAS A FLICKR PAGE!!! So go check that out for more yummy treats... but here is the recipe for the
Chocolate Chip Mint Cookie
INGREDIENTS:
1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® sugar cookie mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon mint extract
6 to 8 drops green food color
1 egg
1 cup creme de menthe baking chips
1 cup semisweet chocolate chunks
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, extract, food color and egg until soft dough forms. Stir in creme de menthe baking chips and chocolate chunks.
2. Using small cookie scoop or teaspoon, drop dough 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Cool 3 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Serve warm or cool completely. Store tightly covered at room temperature.
Enjoy the recipe!!!
So Avi and I were walking in the mall yesterday, and we passed by the window of a Build A Bear Workshop, and in the display window were these yummy little furry treats...
CHOCOLATE CHIP MINT BEARS !!
Build A Bear has a new line of ice cream bears! They're so adorable , so go "SCOOP" one up !
:-D
So among my searches on google for all of the photos for these treats... I also found these , which I have YET to try... but believe me I WILL! ;-)
Well I am done ranting and raving about my beloved choco chip mint.... If you have any other Choco Chip Minty Discoveries , please do let me know !!
